The version marked (XF) has had cross-feed applied, making the sound-stage wider and from the front when listened to with headphones. With this particular story I find it really helps sell the stalked-by-distant-monsters vibe when the monsters actually sound off in the distance. I tightened-up the inter-episode gaps so it sounds like a movie rather than eight individual episodes and re-encoded it using maximum bitrate FDK VBR 5
